The deadline for online registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 has been extended. Candidates can now register for the GATE 2024 exam online until October 5 without paying a late fee. However, the registration window for GATE 2024 will reopen for candidates to apply online with the payment of a late fee. The deadline for GATE 2024 registration with late fee payment is October 13.

GATE 2024 is being administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore. GATE 2024 will take place between February 3 and February 11, 2024. The official website contains information such as GATE 2024 application, eligibility, and GATE exam papers, as well as GATE two-paper combinations.

Students in their third or higher year of any undergraduate degree programme, or who have completed any government-approved degree programme in engineering, technology, science, architecture, or humanities, are eligible to take the GATE 2024 exam.

According to the GATE 2024 schedule, the admit card will be distributed on January 3, 2024. The GATE 2024 answer keys for all papers will be released on February 21, and the results will be announced on March 16.

The GATE 2024 exam will include questions from two sections: general aptitude and core discipline.
