Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to launch National Curriculum Framework
Balvatik and the Foundational Stage 2022 National Curriculum Framework (NCF) will be introduced by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. NCF will be introduced by Dharmendra Pradhan at Rang Bhawan, All India Radio. At the event will also be Ministers of State (MoS) for Education Annpurna Devi, Subhas Sarkar, and Rajkumar Ranjan Singh.
The National Curriculum Framework aims to develop the education system in India by implementing National Education Policy (NEP 2020) across schools in the country. The education minister launched the NCF mandate document on April 29, 2022, and said that it is a step towards decolonisation of the Indian education system. “The new curriculum will focus on holistic development of children, emphasis on skilling, vital role of teachers, learning in mother tongue, cultural rootedness,” he had said.
The ministry of education had earlier said, “NCF includes the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE), the National Curriculum Framework for Early Childhood Care and Education (NCFECCE), the National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education (NCFTE), and the National Curriculum Framework for Adult Education (NCFAE).”
