124 schools under PM-SHRI scheme launched in Haryana

In a significant event, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar jointly launched the first phase of the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India scheme. A total of 124 schools were inaugurated across the state, highlighting the government's commitment towards enhancing education opportunities.

Pradhan addressed the gathering in Rohtak at an event organized by the Haryana school education department. He emphasized that schools involved in the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI) initiative will serve as a remarkable epitome of 21st-century education, infused with modern teaching methodologies, according to indiatoday.

The Union minister is confident that the implementation of schools through the PM-SHRI scheme will enhance the prospects of school education in Haryana, ultimately benefiting the children of the state. According to Pradhan, the new education policy has been instrumental in shaping the development of students across all areas of their curriculum. In an official statement, he praised Haryana's remarkable efforts in the education sector and emphasized that the state is becoming a frontrunner in education nationwide.

Pradhan highlighted two key aspects in the new education policy: the promotion of skill- and technology-based education, and the importance placed on the use of the mother tongue. Furthermore, he expressed his admiration for the remarkable accomplishments of the players from Haryana during the recently concluded Asian Games in China. As part of an endeavor to improve the standard of education in the state, Chief Minister Khattar announced the opening of 124 schools in the first phase under the esteemed PM SHRI scheme.
