"˜Techniche' to Organise National Level of Robotics Competition
Techniche, IIT Guwahati, like every year, has come up with opportunities for robotics enthusiasts under its Robotics Module with wide range of competitions.
Escalade, a national level robotics competition is going to be held in Guwahati on 1st September after being successfully held across India in 11 cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi.
“We believe that only competing is not enough, it is important to learn as well. This can be best done by bringing in people from every corner of the country together”, says Venkatesh, robotics head.
In addition, there is another line-up of robotics competitions during the festival for which interested people can register on the official website of Techniche. Nautilus is yet another innovative event where participants have to build an underwater robot and tackle the hurdles under the water.
Robocalypse, an event where a manual bot has to fight opponent’s bot in a death match has a prize money worth 1,00,000 Rupees.
“This year, we have tried to be as innovative as possible in our events. Participants not only have huge prizes to win but a great environment to learn and explore.
