SSC - CHSL Examination Details - 2020

Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, conducted by the Staff Selection Commission board is going to take place next year from March 16-27, 2020. The registration for the examination is to begin tomorrow, December 3, 2019. The window will remain open till January 1, 2020.

Examination Detail

  1. Students of age group between 18-27 years are eligible to seat for the examinations, provided they have cleared the class 12 boards examination.
  2. Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 are the exam phases. Tier 1 is of 60 minutes duration, computer based test with a total of 200 marks.
  3. The examination will have 25 questions each from General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language (100 multiple choice questions in 60 mins).
  4. Topics are from 12th standard.
  5. Every wrong answer will get 0.5 marks deduction.
  6. Qualified Tier 1 candidates will have to appear for Tier 2 examination (descriptive paper) and next to that for skill test.

Selected candidates will get a chance to work in the positions of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants (PA/SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO0, Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Court Clerk in various departments and ministries of the government of India.

Application Fees For Examination

INR 100 is charged and to be paid either via online or offline mode for final submission of the SSC CHSL 2020 application form. Till January 1, 2020, (5:00pm) applicants can submit the fees online and in offline mode, till January 3 during bank’s working hours. Challan can be downloaded till January 1, 2020 (5:00pm). BHIM, UPI, SBI Net Banking, VISA/Mastercard/Maestro Credit/Debit Card are the options for online payment. For offline payment – SBI Challan from the web portal and pay and submit in any SBI Bank branch during working hours.

SSC CHSL 2020 Admit Card Tier 1 examination will be available only on the official SSC website, which candidates can download after entering registration ID, Date of Birth and Roll Number.
