The term philosophy originates from the Greek words philia(love) and Sophia(wisdom), which means “the love of wisdom”, was introduced by the Greek thinker Pythagoras. Philosophy is basically the study of fundamental problems related to life, knowledge, reason, mind, and language. While studying philosophy candidates will understand the relation between reality and experience and will study about both Indian and Western. This subject will make you understand the existing matter which includes courses like philosophy, logic, ethics and religion and Philosophy is one such field which offers a wide variety of choices to the students.
