In this regard, pharmacists play a key role throughout the whole supply chain towards improving access to medicines.”
During oath taking ceremony, the emerging LPU pharmacists promised that they would ever act as an integral part of health care team. Students also vowed to discover and manufacture quality drugs to lessen the suffering of humanity. They further assured to always work for betterment of the profession of pharmacy. In another illustrative ceremony, senior students welcomed new students by making them wear white-coats-symbol of nobility in the pharmacy profession. On this eve, competitions of art & craft with waste material, short play, rangoli-designs and display of the departmental achievements remained other attractive programs of the event.

I am happy to see that our students have attracted top manufacturers and exporters of pharmaceuticals like LUPIN to provide them annual scholarship. Maintaining the supremacy of pharmacy, these promising scientists of LPU have also developed new technology in overcoming side effects of drugs used in the treatment of colon cancer. The patent for the same has also been published as US patent, European Union patent, Chinese patent and Japanese patent. We are proud of our young growing pharmacists as industry claims this invention as a great service to humanity. We wish to see a lot more technological advancements from Indian scientists like those at LPU!”
