KEAM 2020- Application, Exam Date, Eligibility and Examination

KEAM Entrance Exam is one of the most popular and most written entrance exams for getting into engineering, architecture, and medical degrees in Kerala. The Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams which is run by the Kerala Government is responsible for conducting KEAM. The number of students appearing for this exam has been constantly on the rise and a survey shows that 90806 students attended the exams which were conducted last year and out of that 72440 students were listed in the rank list. This year KEAM is going to be conducted on April 20th and 21st and the admit card for the exam will be issued on April 10th.  KEAM 2020 application fees for the general category are 700 and for the scheduled castes, it is 300. Securing top ranks in the entrance exam will allow candidates to get admitted into the best engineering, architecture, and medical colleges in the state. The registration process for KEAM 2020 is pretty straight forwards and simple to understand. The last date of submitting KEAM 2020 applications is February 29th.

Now let’s look at the KEAM 2020 eligibility criteria: The students that aspire to attend KEAM should be an Indian citizen and that includes both overseas citizens of India (OCI) and persons of Indian origin (PIO). The candidate should complete 17 years by December 31st of 2020. From an educational standpoint, the candidates should have an aggregate 50 percentages in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in their HSC exams to appear for KEAM 2020.
