International students in US at Highest record, China 1st, India 2nd

The intense record has been proved that the international students studying in the US is at a high record among all the existing countries almost one-third of the students are from China, then followed by a distant India that extends over  1 lakh students to the country in the year 2013 and 2014.

 Over 8, 86,052 of international students have gone to the US in the academic year of 2013-2014 probably to pursue their higher studies with various academic courses hence; every year there is an increase of 8.1 percent.

China stands first in the topping list where 2, 74,439 of students study in the US, since there is a rapid increase in the percentage of the international students when compared to the previous year, China indeed is considered as highest record because of the reason for which there was more than 30 percent of students were internationals whereas, Indian students percentage was increased by 28.

China is followed by a distant India, which sent 102,673 students in the year 2013-2014; there is an increase of 6.1 per cent when compared to the previous year, reversing a three-year trend of decline in the number of Indian students at the US universities. The report released by the Institute of International Education (IIE) said that the students from India are described to get around 11.6 percent of those total international students.

The report says that “In the Preceding year, international students contribute some US$ 27 billion to the US economy”

As per the report, the US hosts more of the world’s 4.5 million world wide mobile college and also with the university students than any other country in the world, with almost two-fold the number hosted  by the UK, the second foremost host country. The open doors statement is published yearly by the IIE in partnership with the US Department of state’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

The report gives the statement that, “The number of US students pursuing their higher studies in abroad has doubled over the last 15 years”.

Ryan, Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs.

While the students from China and Saudi Arabia together record for 73 percent for the development, a more extensive scope of nations helped the increment, with India, Brazil, Iran and Kuwait together represent an extra 18 percent of the Escalation.
