IIM-A and Canada's Ivey to create, distribute Indian case studies

One among the leading IIMs in the country, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with Ivey Business School (at Canada's Western University) in order to create and distribute Indian business cases that would be used as classroom teaching tools in universities all round the globe.

Professor Ashish Nanda (Director, IIM-A) and Professor Robert Kennedy (Dean, Ivey Business School) had discussions on additional areas of collaboration, including an MBA student exchange program, cooperation on Executive Education programs, and faculty collaboration at the signing. A Canadian High Commission newsletter release reported ‘Canada and India collaborate on new science and engineering scholarships’. In another development related to bilateral cooperation in higher education, twenty PhD students from India will receive approximately Rs. 9.49 crores (CAD 1.92 million) for scholarships to pursue science and engineering programs at Canada's University of British Columbia under a new program, developed in partnership with India's Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB).
