ICIER-IIMB International Conference on Entrepreneurship Education and Train
Conference overview:
International Consortium for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research (ICIER) and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) are jointly organizing the ICIER 4th International Conference during 29-31 January 2015 in association with the international partners of ICIER along with IEF, CSBE, EBTC and ArtforEconomy. As this conference is part of a larger initiative for understanding the facilitation of entrepreneurship in emerging economies, its main objective is to provide a forum for discussing and sharing research-based ideas on Entrepreneurship education and training with a view to enhancing the awareness of the best practices, both from developed as well as developing countries, for the benefit of academics, consultants, trainers, entrepreneurs and policy makers.
Conference Theme:
The main theme of the conference is Entrepreneurship Education and Training with special reference to the Design, Delivery and Effectiveness of programs for promoting entrepreneurship and new venture creation. It provides a platform for policy makers,entrepreneurs, industry bodies, researchers, academicians and artists to share ideas on the best practices in entrepreneurship promotion through education and training.
Art Competition & Exhibition
As part of the conference, ARTforEconomy and Fondazione Rivoli2 are organizing an International Art Competition and Exhibition related to the theme of "Entrepreneurship Education and Training: Design, Delivery and Effectiveness". This is a competition for professional and amateur artists for developing artwork depicting the economic themes related to Entrepreneurship Education and Training
Virtual Exhibition of Innovative European Technologies
During the ICIER-IIMB Conference a virtual exhibition of innovative technologies from Europe will be organized by the European Technology Experience Centre (ETEC), a unique 'Living Lab' of European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC). ETEC promotes sustained and real-time knowledge exchange between Europe and India to facilitate collaboration in technology, science, research, innovation and business. Its portal is also useful for Indian companies to get relevant information on European companies for potential business collaboration. The virtual exhibition by ETEC at the ICIER-IIMB conference will provide the necessary information and contacts to Indian entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for product co-development for multiple markets by identifying and partnering with European businesses. The participants will be taken through the recorded past events and webinars such as 'Innovation through EU-India Knowledge Sharing' and 'Technology Opportunity Pitches' (TOPs).
