A certificate course that certifies a student has successfully completed a specific course and gives the student an opportunity to get a job is a diploma course. 2. Post-Graduation Diploma in Archives Keeping – It is a one year PG diploma course in Archives Keeping, with a focus on giving a chance to the students to get a job. Students who have completed PG degree in History or Archeology are eligible for this course. In this course, a student learns the standard principles and methods of description of archival materials that has been adopted by the Indian and overseas archival community. They also learn the various perspectives regarding the nature and purpose of archival description. There are many opportunities for students upon completion of this course.
