AMBA accreditation for IIM-Calcutta

The Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta (IIM-C) received recognition by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), which is an international authority on postgraduate business education. "We are indeed happy to receive this recognition. It reaffirms our commitment to academic excellence and marks a significant step towards our journey to be regarded as a global leader in management education," says Saibal Chattopadhyay, Director, IIM-C. With this recognition, the IIM-C now joins the league of top B-schools across the world, including ESCP Europe Business School, Ashridge Business School (Hertfordshire, Britain), Reims Management School (Reims, France), Mannheim Business School (Manheim, Germany) and Imperial College Business School (London, Britain).

AMBA's chief executive Andrew Main Wilson says, "We are both pleased and proud to confirm the receipt of IIM Calcutta's AMBA accreditation. AMBA accredits just one percent of the world's MBA business schools and IIM Calcutta's initial 5-year accreditation reflects the quality of their MBA programs, faculty and students." The institute has been given accredited status for the Post Graduate Program for Executives and Post Graduate Program-Master in Business Management (PGP-MBM) courses by the AMBA for five years.
