Last Minute Preparation Tips for NEET PG 2022

NEET PG 2022 is around the corner and it is important for the candidates to start revising what they have learned till now. Every year lakhs of candidates attend the exam, but only a few of them have managed to clear it. NEET PG 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on 21st May of this year. Within the demand of candidates to delay the exam quoting lack of time to prepare, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on the same day until any further notice. Conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, NEET PG 2022 will be conducted for 3 hours 30 minutes, where the students will have to attend a total of 200 questions. The curriculum of the examination will comprise of subjects as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India. NEET PG exam will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) format and the medium of instruction will be in English only. For every right answer, four marks will be granted to the candidates and for each wrong answer one mark will be abstracted.

Check Admit Cards Thoroughly

The NEET PG 2022 admit card is your entry ticket to exam centre, and therefore it must be checked in advance. Candidates should check all details given on the admit card carefully to ensure that there is no incongruity in any detail. The admit card also contains some rules and exam guidelines which must be read to avoid last-minute hassles at the exam centres. Carry the same ID proof for verification that is mentioned in your admit card. For example, if you have uploaded Aadhar as your verification ID during the registration of NEET PG exam, the same will be reflected in your admit card. Instead of any other ID such as PAN Card or Driving License, carry your Aadhar card as ID proof to the exam centre.

Follow A Time Table and Checklist

To prepare well for the exam, students should prepare a strict time table and follow it. Also prepare a checklist of tasks to be finished before the exam such as arranging the necessary documents you need to carry to the exam centre, finishing any particular topic, taking mock tests, going through the questions of previous years, and so on. This strategy helps you not to miss important things and at the same time saves your precious time.

Attend Mock Tests

While revising for the exam, focus more on the topics in which you are weak and attempt as many mock tests as possible before the last minute of the exam. This will help to get flexible with the exam pattern and complete the paper with stipulated time. If possible, try to attend previous few years question papers as it will help you to understand your mistakes and rectify them beforehand.

Proper Revision

Make a list of topics that are important for NEET PG Exam and allocate a specific hour of time to them. Candidates need to keep in mind the fact that the NEET PG exam also has negative markings. One wrong answer will deduct a mark for them. Therefore, high-weightage topics need to be revised more frequently, as it will help them to score well in the NEET PG 2022 exam.
