TISS Hyderabad, Macquarie offer dual-degree MA in Public Policy, IR
Tata Institute of Social Sciences Hyderabad, in collaboration with Macquarie University, Australia, is soliciting the applications for Master of Arts in Public Policy and International Relations.
Unique International Dual Degree Program started on victorship with a vision to develop future leaders for the articulation of the art of policymaking, diplomacy, and global governance being launched in the year 2024.Over a period of 2 years, students will undergo a unique multidisciplinary pedagogical breadth from a NEP prospective where theory meets practice.
The program would award two postgraduate degrees, an MA in Public Policy steeped in theories and practice at TISS Hyderabad and a Master of International Relations at Macquarie University in Sydney. A graduate degree in any subject is necessary for entry. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic performance, English language proficiency, and selection procedure. In order to apply for the master's program, applicants must be done with their degree before March 20, 2025.
The first year deals with public policy, institutional frameworks, and governance with prospects for two internships, while in the second year, students have a chance to study at Macquarie University with studies in international relations, regional dynamics, and global diplomacy that prepare them for succeeding in the high-temperature world within policy development and execution.
Internships are a major component of the program, allowing students to work with world-class organizations such as NITI Aayog, Council for Strategic and Defence Research (CSDR), and other government organizations, such as the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor. Besides, Macquarie University has initiatives to grant scholarships which will be put forward to the second-year candidates, thus making this program even more attractive as consider a launch pad for budding leaders for public policy and international relations.
