IIM Ranchi is next in the line after IIM Indore, Rohtak, and Bodh Gaya to announce this program. This program is specifically designed for the students who clear 10+2 and want to pursue a career in management. The average CTC of IIM Ranchi stood at 15.11 lakh per annum making it a good proposition for the future.

Having a total of 120 seats, this five-year integrated program will provide students with more options to study and get practical exposure to become market ready. Since the notification is out for IIM Ranchi students are now looking to take SAT to stand a chance to get into this prestigious institution. Who all are eligible?

There is no age limit for the applicants. The course structure is designed to provide a multidisciplinary foundation borrowing from humanities, social sciences, arts, and sciences. The program’s cross-disciplinary business core builds on such a foundation. It comprehensively covers management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, information systems, data science, and strategic management. The eligibility to apply for this program is that the candidates should have passed the 10th standard/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th standard/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent) with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more marks. Additionally, the program offers life-skill courses that focus on their holistic development as professionally and socially responsible individuals. Students will get the opportunity to learn and grow in a premier business school and develop capabilities that send signals to the marketplace. 

The Selection process

The selection process for IPM at IIM Ranchi emphasizes on the following parameters –

1. Scholarship Aptitude Test – better known as SAT is an exam that tests a candidate on their English and Maths aspects. Apart from IIM Ranchi SAT scores are accepted by many Indian Universities and colleges also.
2. Written Ability Test (WAT) - tests the student on writing skills and aims to check the articulate thinking and command over the language.
3. Personal Interview
4. Overall Academic Performance at the secondary and the higher secondary levels.

A proper curriculum and abundant practice through Mock tests are the most important aspects in terms of selection.
