IIM Bodhgaya collaborates with Ericsson to launch Digital Business Program
IIM Bodhgaya has partnered with Ericsson to launch a new training program in Digital Business Management. This will be integrated into the MBA program to give students employability in the very competitive scenario, palatable with mobile financial services and digital finance technologies, which are key to the ever-evolving digital economy of India.
The program will impart specialized training in digital business management, focusing on the fintech space of digital payments, financial inclusion, compliance frameworks, fintech business models, and AI-driven financial services. Workshops will be conducted by MFS experts of Ericsson via both in-person and virtual sessions to provide practical experiences of functioning in the digital finance orientation.
Professor Sabyasachi Mohapatra, Chairperson of the Career Development Cell at IIM Bodhgaya said, "This MoU is a testament to the institute’s commitment to reducing the cost of training at our partner’s end by ensuring a steady flow of desired talent into Ericsson’s capacity pool. The model shall provide a unique set of teaching aids and consolidated training material to enable the seamless and faster deployment of our students in the niche industry space."
The MoU signed between landed heads of both institutions signifies a formal partnership. Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Vinita S Sahay, Director of IIM Bodhgaya, stated that this would go a long way toward creating a pool of highly talented graduates with industry-relevant skills for pumping in faculties in the fintech sector in demand nowadays.
