CAT Not Required for Admission to This MBA Course

Prospective management students can now enroll in an MBA programme without needing a Common Admission Test (CAT) score. Pearl Academy School of Business has opened admissions to its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes with multiple industry-aligned specialisations.

Pearl Academy has unveiled its Business School on Friday, March 21 and for the admission to MBA programme, the preference will be given to the Pearl Academy Entrance Exam. "For the admission to MBA programme, preference will be given to Pearl Academy Entrance Exam scores. However, students with CAT scores can also apply for the MBA programme," Amod Vijayvargiya, Director of Pearl Academy School of Business. The admission to the BBA programme will be held through CUET UG, he added.

The institute offers both the MBA and BBA in Advertising and Brand Management, Digital Communication Management, Data Science and Business Analytics, Media and Entertainment Management, and Human Resource Management. Recently, the institution introduced India's premier BBA and MBA specialisations in Fashion and Lifestyle Business Management (FLBM) and Global Luxury Management (GLBM).

The fee for the BBA is set at ₹10 lakh, while the MBA will be charged at ₹12 lakh. To ease the pathway for meritorious students, there is a scholarship of up to ₹2 lakh applicable for the BBA aspirants; scholarships/fee waivers do not depend on the results of the Common Admission Test.

Pearl Academy Business School's BBA, and MBA classes will commence in August. "The classes will be held in-person, however, students will get access to digital resources- online classes, YouTube videos of our lectures, and other online resources," Vijayvargiya said

The BBA, and MBA programmes are designed in a way to enhance employability following their courses. "Internships are mandatory for every BBA and MBA programme, and till the completion of internships, students' results will be withheld. For the MBA programme, will offer paid internships to students," he said.

The Pearl Academy School of Business highlights industry exposure via extensive collaborations to develop actual on-the-job exposure through internships and placement demands work experience. For curriculum development, there is advisory board support from leaders working in industries from across the globe, while a priority for curriculum development is to draw upon its experienced faculty as a key driver for innovative and academic excellence.
