By 2025, India will have 119 million 18 to 22 year olds, which means India will be home to the largest student population in the world by then. One of the core foundations that India needs to improve is its education sector. Today, we have transitioned into an era where technology has made its way into education industry; an era where traditional methods of educations and old courses are being replaced by an array of new and emerging institutes that offer numerous courses to choose from, eventually leading to exciting and unchartered career paths for students. According to the 2019-20 budget presented by the Union Minister Piyush Goyal, the total sum allocated for both schools and higher education combined, to be spent by the Ministry of Human Resource Development is 93,847.64 crore, out of which Rs 37,461.01 crore has been allotted to higher educational institution while Rs 56, 386.63 crore has been allotted to school education. Universities and colleges are already making efforts to provide optimal student support by putting together all the services to a single location, whether it is physical or virtual. Latest Technologies like Adaptive Learning, Predictive Analytics, AI-Augmented Classrooms, Machine Learning have become the latest buzzwords within the education industry. With universities being one of the greatest institutions of modern society recognized for offering transformational experience for an individual, university education is undoubtedly playing a key role for an individual.
