With most countries being English speaking nations, the students also opt for studies in English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, United States and Australia. Not just because of the language but the western culture also attract most students to pursue higher education in such countries. However, emerging as a global power, the Asian countries are fast making their place in the priority list of the students planning to study overseas. There is certainly much to gain from studying abroad in Asia, especially in southeast Asian countries. Perhaps, the biggest attraction for the students is the vast difference in culture in comparison to the West. Being the world's largest and most populous continent, Asia is extremely diverse. Including ten countries Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, South East Asia has a combined population of around 540 million. With so much to offer, the education and the work opportunities within South East Asian countries undoubtedly stand ahead of other countries.
