Even though, I do not know how many users this particular fitness band has now, 6 percent is not a great number, considering good sleep as an important part for a healthy lifestyle. Now, inspired by this interesting comparison about my sleep, I may consider taking the necessary measures to ensure a better sleep tonight and it will eventually make me healthier. Thanks to the latest technologies, in particular, Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is one of the most common buzzwords in the technology circle now. The estimates show that 1.9 billion devices are already connected to this IoT and by 2020, it could include between 30 billion and 75 billion things ranging from smart bands, toys and photo frames to medical devices, earthquake sensors and aeroplanes. The Indian industry, which is re-crafted and planned by the digital sector, is expected to be the leading innovator and market leader in IoT. Deloitte, in the beginning of 2017, had already predicted that Internet of Things (IoT) units in India are expected to see a rapid 31-fold growth to reach 1.9 billion by 2020, adding that the market value of IoT is expected to reach USD 9 billion.To maximize the full potential of IoT as a viable business opportunity, the country needs to create next generation of smart candidates. With the right guidance and curriculum, business organizations and educational institutions can team up to prepare young learners for the future of innovations.
