Realizing the kind of impact agricultural education can make, we have come up with this special issue. The cover story of this issue features Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture (PAJANCOA) which was founded in 1987 at Karaikal in the Union Territory of Puducherry. The institute, registered as PAJANCOA&RI, is making every effort to bring about paradigm shifts in agricultural education in the UT in specific and nation in general. Governed by PAJANCOA (Karaikal) society with the Chief Secretary, Govt. of Puducherry as the Chairman, the institution is accredited by ICAR (NAEAB) and affiliated with Pondicherry, University in Puducherry for upholding its academic standards. The teaching method of this institute ensures that all its students receive hands-on training. Also featuring in this issue is Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture which was founded in the year 2014 under the patronage of Sakthi Foundation, the charitable trust of Sakthi Group, a part of Kumaraguru institutions. A culmination of Arutchelvar Padma Bhushan Dr. N. Mahalingam's time-honored dream, the institute envisions empowering its learners with technology blended agricultural knowledge and inspiring students to strive for innovation in production, food security, safety, and quality through a high standard of education and research. After scrutinizing the colleges in this field, we have narrowed it down to the top 10 colleges that have showcased exceptional academic expertise. With the intent to transform the lives of students, these colleges have exhibited the acumen to adapt to the evolution of the educational field and help students emerge victorious. We look forward to receiving your feedback and suggestions. Sudhakar SinghManaging Editoreditor@thehighereducationreview.comWatering the Roots
