What is the future of Higher Education?
Traditional student mobility and choice patterns have changed over the years. The government has set a target of 30 percent gross enrolment for higher education, which will mean providing 40 million university places, an increase of 14 million in five years. Innovation and change are required and understanding that change will be essential. Tie-ups with international universities and organizations for research and developmental purposes will be the key to the sector's growth. Owing to India's diversity, the country is riddled with uneven growth and accessibility across dimensions.
