Established in 2004, Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, better known as WE School, works with an aim to nurture thought leaders and practitioners through inventive education. The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management is the flagship program and it incorporates the new trends along with the fundamentals of management education. Internationalization is a priority at the WE School. With this intention, the students are given an exposure to the global businesses by virtue of exchange programs with international universities and internships through projects in international companies. As a part of this internationalization, students are sent for internships and projects in countries such as USA, Japan, Ghana, Denmark, Germany, Kenya, Dubai, Malaysia, Tanzania, Sweden, Singapore and so on. Along with it, students also participate in the study tours conducted to leading organizations in Japan and Sweden. The regularly organized interactive sessions with leading luminaries of the corporate world and the association with the leading industry bodies including CII, CRISIL, AMDISA, AACSB, and IMC and the global exposure adds on to the employability of WE school graduates.
