Barry John Acting Studio has shifted to Mumbai after three decades of imparting training in acting in Delhi. The institute has famous personalities as alumni such as Shahrukh Khan, Manoj Bajpai, Samir Soni, Shiney Ahuja, and many more.
Beyond all the technical and aesthetic aspects of an actor's education, the syllabus includes modules that enlighten and instruct students in the launching and building of their careers as actors. The pedagogy includes learning through faculty, guest speakers from film, television, radio, theatre and advertising sharing their experience on expectation of an actor in the industry.
The institute's agency sustains the concern that their students find employment with continuing guidance and assistance. They maintain an online database of students and their accomplishments for this purpose. All related issues of writing resumes, photographic portfolios, show reels, understanding industry personnel and terminology, interviews, auditions, screen tests, casting agents, contracts, payments, insurance, and even positive unemployment between jobs, are addressed.
