Over the years, through the excellence of teaching and innovative and well-structured course curriculum, Southeast Adian University has won several awards and recognitions including many titles won by the students for the brilliance of knowledge. SAU has won the ICDL Thailand Digital Challenge three straight years. In the Business & Finance Professional category of the 2019 ICDL Thailand Digital Challenge and the third annual digital tournament, SAU students were awarded gold awards. The 2019 ICDL Thailand Digital Challenge was created to identify Thailand's top internet technologies talent. SAU has taken part in the competition for three years and has won the gold medal each time. The Royal Best Study Award was given out by the Education and Engineering Research Fund to one of SAUs engineering students.
Additionally, an SAU During the 33rd National Safety and Occupational Health held by Safety and Health at Work Promotion Association, a student studying safety engineering took second place in the category of Safety Youth Brand Ambassador 2019. Through the use of VR technology, SAU Computer Technology students are promoting tourism in Thailand. In the era of Digital Thailand, or Thailand 4.0, SAU students use VR technology to promote Thailand's tourism industry. The idea was developed during a 2017 National Software Contest, where they advanced to the final round. As the Top Student Award, H.M. King Rama 10 presented a gold medal to one of SAUs Electrical Engineering students.

He has completed his Ph.D. in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from Chulalongkorn University, and Master Degree in IT for Business Transformation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and his Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University.
