Set up with the vision to impart value based education, the Shree Medha Degree College, School of Commerce, Management and Technology has rapidly grown in stature and reputation since its inception in 2015. Belonging in the part of the Hyderabad-Karnataka belt, which is backwards when compared to other regions in Karnataka, most of the students from this region often migrate to places like Bangalore for higher education. In order to tackle this situation, imparting quality education has become the need of the hour. Aiming to tackle this situation, Shree Medha Degree College has stepped up to change the way education is perceived in this region. Today, the college is a renowned name offering UG courses such as BBA, B.Com and BCA. Later, the institute also started Shree Medha PU college to address the various gaps that are prevalent in this region.
What once began with just 158 students has now reached a strong figure of 1600. Born out of the noble vision of K. Ram Kiran , the Founder of Shree Medha Degree College, under his guidance the college has been continuously striving to prepare a generation that could successfully meet the demands of the information age and at the same time be imbued with the noble ideals of selfless service and love is an urgent need of the hour. It is Ram Kiran's vision which has continued to shape the mission and vision of Shree Medha Degree College.
"Started with Under Graduate (UG) Programmes in the year 2015 with a strength of 200 Shree Medha Degree College has grown to a strength of 1000 offering courses like Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Taxation and Bachelors in Computer Application (BCA). Understanding the need for commerce education for this reason we started pre-university course (PUC) in the year 2017 and producing the best results. Not only achieving university ranks our students have proven their talents in various intercollegiate competitions, university level and national level sports events", says K. Vesting Focus of Building Skills
Today, one of the most important thing is skill-based education and Shree Medha Degree College gives major emphasis on improving the skills of its students so that they can get good jobs. It is also the only institute in this region which offers certification courses to the students. Apart from just following the University curriculum, these certification programs offered by Shree Medha Degree College allows the students to be up to date with the latest trends and requirements in the industry. The certification programs helps deals with AI, Python, and Tally to mention a few. After that, the other unique aspect of Shree Medha Degree College is strong placements.

We at Sree Medha ensure that each student is given right industry exposure and skill development to meet the high end corporate expectations. Hence, we are offering internships to all our students. We have MOUs with Kirloskar Advance Management Institute, ICP Academy, and Internshala.com. These MOUs allow our students to do their internships in top organizations. We also have an independent placement cell and through this, we train our students so that they will be better prepared for the industry", shares K. Ram Kiran.

Shree Medha Degree College has divided its structure in curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular. The institution also conducts some unique events for its students every year that are related to their teaching pedagogy.
