Higher education in India has come a long way since the establishment of the first university in 1857. Today, there are thousands of colleges and universities across the country offering a variety of courses in arts and commerce. Arts and commerce are two of the most popular fields of study in India. A degree in either of these subjects can lead to a successful career in a number of different sectors. There are a number of reasons why arts and commerce are such popular fields of study in India. Firstly, they offer a well-rounded education that can prepare students for a variety of different careers. Secondly, they provide students with the opportunity to develop a number of different skills, such as communication and problem-solving.
