"Holistic approaches have helped Nulearn to assist learners in career guidance and resume modification"

It's More Than Theoretical Learning

For generating and promoting an ongoing dialogue on how e-learning can transform 21st century education, Nulearn has inscribed a long term success plan. Along with most diversified faculties, Nulearn is following the clearest route in education technology segment. "The vision is to make learning and its processes powerful. For this purpose, we have connected with likeminded people through Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube Data, and Instagram. These connections have helped in discovering and utilizing the best e-learning ways," says Sumit Kumar, Founder & CEO, Nulearn. Holistic approaches have helped Nulearn to assist learners in career guidance and resume modification. Every Saturday Sumit conducts social media campaigns and webinars for this.

"I suggest the participants to select the best courses and tell the career prospects. Mostly they select human resource analytics, financial analytics, marketing analytics, big data and data analytics. Machine learning and artificial intelligence are also at the top of the list," says Sumit. In addition, Nulearn delivers leadership, strategic and general management courses.

Learning is a two way interactive process at Nulearn. Combination of group discussions and project work presentations is the focal point of it. Every week, the faculties conduct quizzes and assessments to check whether the learners are on the same page or not. It helps the faculties to assess the progress better. "And because the faculties are either associated with or have studied in IIMs, one of the main features that we offer to learners is IIM campus visit. At the end of 4 months online program, we allow them to attend lectures for IIM certification," explains Sumit. Nulearn has made learning simpler by introducing gamification on course modules. The learners can play real time games with other participants and have social collaboration in the portal. "So, it's a platform with all possible aspects of e-learning. And as an added benefit, we permit the learners to record the live sessions for future reference. It keeps the learners engaged and focused," states Sumit.

Some Special Achievements

Recently Nulearn received ED Tech Company of the Year 2019 award from National Education Awards and Summit. Bagging another prestigious recognition, Nulearn got certification from the Indian Government in 2018 for excellent work in e-learning. It is the first company in the education space to receive the stature of being a startup. Even Sumit himself collected the award for Leader of the Year for Education from Indian Magazine. "Getting appreciated by learners motivates us to do more," elucidates Sumit. Besides, Nulearn is bootstrap company where Sumit invested from his pockets. In the first year, Nulearn generated INR 3.8 crores and INR 15 crores in the following year. Factors that contributed to this massive turnover include the huge number of courses that Nulearn added to its inventory. Due to its colossal success, there are other institutes in the pipeline looking forward to start working with Nulearn.

Describing the learning experience, one of the learners, Mayank Pandey asserts, "I was working as software developer for almost 3 years and wanted to explore new opportunities. That is when I got to know about Nulearn counseling team. They helped me to select Data Analytics from IIM and Nulearn mentors stepped in to prepare me for job interview. Within a month of completing the course, I got a new job." Another learner, Sreedevi Vermanan speaks, "After owning a valuable six years experience with renowned brands, I was on a sabbatical after my pregnancy. I was willing to join back but faced difficulties. One day, I was browsing Facebook and saw a post on Nuwithwomen. At that moment, my life changed. I e-mailed Sumit, who helped me out."

From catering to the needs of professionals and students, winning awards and testifies, Nulearn is aiding the educational needs big time. In few months, Nulearn is about to increase the number of courses and add more institutions in the portfolio. Furthermore, taking big strides, Nulearn is planning to invest time and money on technology to foster a robust learning platform. Encompassing more people into the B2B space for corporate sales and expanding business in India and abroad is another plan Nulearn wants to execute.
