BodhBridge ESPL was launched in 2008 by alumni of IIT Madras and they offer specialized assessments for Employability Bench-marking through `Placement Ready' and Career Choice through `My Choice, My Future MCMF'. BodhBridge closely works with UG and PG colleges by providing an online learning and assessment tool called Placement Ready. MCMF Tool has been developed by BodhBridge in collaboration with the faculty and researchers from the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras. The two masterminds behind this innovative product includes Prof. L.S. Ganesh, a very popular name in the education space and Balaraju Kondaveeti Co-Founder and CEO BodhBridge Educational Services. This product was launched in 2011 and has serviced more than 125 colleges and reached more than 2 lakh students across India. This tool consists of Video based learning (more than 3500 videos) and online assessments which help students to prepare for Campus Placements and Competitive Exams. BodhBridge has conducted more than 8 lakh assessments through this platform and using this data, the company provides an Employability Benchmarking called BEAT Scorecard to each student which helps them to understand how employable they are through a Skill Gap analysis. BodhBridge ESPL has also been selected for NASSCOM Emerge 50 Awards in 2011.

"As an EdTech company, we had different products for college students. We have been working with students for quite some time and after some time we realized that the student engagement became less and we went back to understand the reason. Among many reasons, what caught our attention was `I am not interested in this course', `I wanted to do something else, but my parents insisted I take up this', etc. We then realized that we could help these students. We wanted the students to make an informed decision when it came to picking a career path. That's how MCMF was born. When we are talking about the current scenario, we are talking about the existing Pandemic situation. A time when we are all limited by our movements, but not by the options. There is a silver lining to this situation- at least when it comes to learning and preparing ourselves for the future. MCMF as a career-guidance tool has helped students understand their strengths and have guided them to prepare (improving their skills, learn a new one through online resources) themselves for the career path of their choice", says, Balaraju Kondaveeti, Founder, BodhBridge ESPL when asked about the inception story of MCMF and the current landscape of higher education and career counselling.
For MCMF, the most important objective is to create awareness among students to make informed decisions while making choices with respect to higher education. MCMF helps the students/youngsters to 1) understand their personality strengths 2) Understand their Career Interests 3) Map their strengths to suitable career paths. The company also has certified career guidance counsellors who will then help the students navigate through their set goals. In short, the company's aim is to help students and parents make informed decisions when it comes to making career-related decisions. Their counsellors use a very unique career guidance framework to guide students and parents. In most cases, MCMF wants to be a conversation starter-where the parents and children come together to discuss their next step.

Creating a unique platform
"MCMF began with a very simple yet impactful mission and when we began working on MCMF we were sure that we wanted to build/design a product for our population. We spent a lot of time thinking about who our audiences will be, what they can accept/not accept, etc. We were sure in our minds that we want a product that is very culturally and linguistically relevant to our population while keeping in mind the statistical and psychometric properties of an assessment tool. MCMF is available in 6/7 regional languages. It's not just the test, we have the reports in the regional languages and we also have the certified career counsellors in all these languages. These counsellors use a unique career guidance framework to guide students, parents and give actionable feedback. We have always been an online tool. We built our product for online usage. The students can also opt for career guidance counsellors available in their locality or even opt for an online mode of counselling", adds, Balaraju while talking about how they were able to help their students and evolve with the changing times.

MCMF works with various clients including Career Counsellors, Government Institutions, Schools, Colleges, Corporates and NGOs, and retail users. Since their products can be used for multiple purposes like training, recruitment, skill development, admissions, educational events, career guidance, the company is able to cater to the diverse audience across India. Going forward, MCMF is aiming to continue innovative product development, focussing on solving key problems (employability and motivation to learn) in learning and develop into a market leader.

He has completed M.S (Entrepreneurship) from IIT Madras. He is a B.Tech in ECE from JNTU Hyderabad. As part of M.S (Entrepreneurship), he founded a company in 2006. Mr.Balaraju holds 2 patents (granted) in the area of Internet Security. These patents were licensed to Lasersoft Infosystems, a Polaris group company. Mr.Balaraju won the Best Student Plan Award in the Business Plan Conclave Organized by PAN IIT Global Conference 2008. Mr.Balaraju won the National Budding Innovator Award, 2009 from NRDC, a Govt. of India Enterprise. In 2009, he co-founded BodhBridge Educational Services (P) Limited which is incubated in C-TIDES, IIT Madras. BodhBridge has been selected for Nasscom Emerge 50 Awards, 2011.
