Japan offers New Prospects to Indian Students
The top 30 Universities from Japan are inviting students from all over the world to pursue their education in Japan,
as part of the Global 30 initiative by the Japanese Government and are offering scholarships on the tuition fees that
range between 30 to 100 percent.
One of the members of Global 30, Ritsumeikan Group of Institutions has set up operations in South India to enable
and assist students to pursue higher education in their group institution – Risumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU). Asthere is a growing demand for globally trained Business Managers, who understand the Japanese style of management; the APU has decided to support 50 deserving students from India, with generous scholarships - to pursue higher studies at the University. The selection process will be based on academics, sports and extra-curricular activities. "Considering the strengthening ties of long-term political and business relationship between India and Japan; the presence of over 1800 Japanese Companies in India and the need for managers who understand the working style of Japanese organizations, students completing Class Twelve shall look at global study options in Japan", says Binesh Balakrishnan, Senior Education Specialist at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, South India Office.
