On June 29 2017, Indian School of Business (ISB) announced the launch of physical incubation and acceleration centre on its campus in Hyderabad. This incubation arm, DLabs plans to incubate approximately 50 companies this year. DLabs is the incubation and acceleration arm of Indian School of Business set up in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The physical centre called DLabs will have a proper environment and ecosystem in place for startups to push forward their entrepreneurial journey. For the DLabs, the business school has partnered with Department of Science and Technology and comes under the bigger umbrella of its already existing Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).
