IRMA Taps 100 Percent Again in Placements
The placement week for the Institute of Rural Management Anand was scheduled during February, 2015. The institution saw a rise of students this term from 117 students to 157 students, this however did not hamper the institutions placement policies and it again maintained a 100 percent placement record. The placement process concluded with 276 jobs offered by 84 recruiters for a batch of 157 students. The average salary of the current batch was over Rs. 8.2 lakhs per annum, about 8 percent higher than the previous year's. The maximum salary for the batch stood at Rs. 15.5 lakhs. The largest number of jobs offered by a single company was by the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, a total of 15. The other single largest recruiter this year was Escorts Agri Machinery in the agriculture and rural marketing sector with 12 recruitments. Along with the earlier financial recruiters such as Yes Bank and SBI, this term saw some of the new names like Indusind Bank, Janalakshmi Financial Services, Light Microfinance and, Vistaar Financial Services.
