The institute offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery courses in all dental specialties. "Apart from these, for the memory of our beloved founder late Dr. LK Gandhi, we have introduced scholarship programs of over Rs.6 crore to the deserving students of the year 21-22 for BDS. This scholarship has been prepared to continue the vision of our founder in producing dignified professionals from all sectors of society at an affordable cost. The courses are designed in such a manner that our students are trained well in the academic as well as clinical arenas. This is made possible because of experienced mentors in the form of faculty members, availability of recourses like latest technological advancements for clinical training and a well-rounded OPD. Simulation centre equipped with phantom heads and best demonstrative aids facilitate the students with the preclinical skills needed before working on actual patients. Students observe and perform all the procedures in these clinics under the expert supervision of the teaching faculties. The hostel accommodation gives a true feeling of home away from home to students with similar sense of warmth, security and comfort.
"With state-of-the-art infrastructure, the nine dental specialities are well equipped with latest diagnostic and treatment aids such as CAD/CAM, CBCT, Soft and hard tissue laser, to name some. To move ahead with the latest digital dentistry, we have also introduced our students to the Intra oral scanner (ITero), which I think IDST is the only college in the North India to have suchfacilities", avers Dr. Vikram.

Giving more insights into the research activities at the institute, Dr. Vikram adds, "At IDST, every department harbors a well functional OPD having large number of patient inflow, which enables students to come across plethora of patients in order to sharpen their clinical and surgical expertise. Simulation centre equipped with phantom heads and best demonstrative aids facilitate the students with the preclinical skills needed before working on actual patients. Students observe and perform all the procedures in these clinics under the expert supervision of the teaching faculties. The hostel accommodation gives a true feeling of home away from home to students with similar sense of warmth, security and comfort.
