IIIT, Hyderabad
Established in 1997, International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) is an autonomous university that was set up as a not-for-profit public private partnership (N-PPP) and is the first IIIT to be set up under this model in India. A Governing Council consisting of eminent people from academia, industry and government presides over the governance of the institution. IIIT-H offers undergraduate, postgraduate and dual degree programmes. The institute also offers MSIT program in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, U S.
Placing great importance on "Human Values" and professional ethics the institution works vigorously on maintaining the culture. The institute excels in research and development programmes; there are more than 20 research centres in campus, where various projects are going on and research publications from the faculty and the students are very frequent.
