I started off freelancing as an independent education consultant, shuffling between my full-time job as a banker and my passion of education consultation. I helped my friends, mostly those in my inner circle to select Universities, decide on the courses which are apt for them; helped them build their profiles, assisted them with the SOPs, LORs & Resume for free. Slowly, the number of students started increasing through referrals and thus started to provide paid premium services. Then, I decided to quit my full-time job to full immerse into pursuing my passion. I realized this as my true calling and thus we started off as an officially registered overseas education consulting firm to help passionate minds realize their dream of studying abroad".
GoIreland had to go through rough patches especially in the early days trying to make their mark in this huge market. They approached several Universities to tie-up with, but were turned down by most of them as they saw it of least importance to even give us the opportunity. In the year 2019, due to a certain misunderstanding, they had massive number employees resigning at the same time, leaving them stretched.
