As per a recent report, India's Logistics and supply chain costs currently amount to a staggering 400 USD, up to 14% of the GDP, compared to the global average of 8%, raising a competitiveness gap of approximately USD 180 Billion. Further, the challenges experienced by the sector during the pandemic has highlighted the urgent need for building a stronger and more relevant infrastructure that can not only withstand the unexpected disruptions of this scale but is also agile enough to adapt and bounce back to efficiency almost immediately in the face of future conflicts. Envisaging the shortage of certified and well-trained logistics professionals to meet the ongoing group requirements and as a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility, Mr. B.P.Nassar (M.D) initiated the idea of setting up and the beginning of the new academic division `Frontline Academy of Logistics' - an academy to train, develop and create logistics professionals from the grassroots level.

The M.D of the frontline group Mr. B.P. Nassar, who is not only a successful businessman but a philanthropist, had several opportunities to meet many different people as well as hear their uplifting and interesting stories of life. When this made him brood on how to reach out and contribute more to our society, education was one word that sprang to his mind. The vision of developing and employing the local populace, with the sole aim of training the local student community to a complete professional; thereby employing the right candidate to the organization and preparing them to compete with the highly competitive global market, led to the beginning of Frontline Academy. When many of the corporate companies have their hubs in various metropolitan cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and more, he always dreamed of bringing up my place, Eramangalam, to be a logistics hub and support his fellow beings to become `highly in demand' Logisticians. He believes that if he could fly to this height, then his fellow villagers including the younger generations can. Having a social commitment and responsibility towards his people, he took this opportunity of starting Frontline Academy of Logistics as a blessing showered upon him by the Almighty.

"At our academy, we provide an international diploma program with international accreditation from SDB U.K. Our 6 months of classroom training and 6 months of on-job Training in the offices of Frontline located across the globe, sets our students apart from other students or logistics professionals.
