The higher education system in India is the third largest globally, offering education and training across a wide range of disciplines. The states leading in terms of student enrollment include Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and few other states. Therefore, understanding the importance of education and the positive impact it can make to a country, we have focused on the Higher education landscape across states in India in this issue.
