This was the first such conference exclusively for students of fourth year and final year B Arch and final semester M Arch," avers Prof. Shubhada Chapekar.

In the education of Architecture, practicing Architects are an important part of the learning environments. At DYPSOA, the Practical training of six months is an integral part of the curriculum. Students are trained under various Architects in different cities across India such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkatta, Ranchi, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Pune and more. Some also had the opportunity to learn at International studios in the USA and in Dubai. "Our students follow a rigorous guided process to get the Practical Training opportunity, where they have to research and prepare a comprehensive list of Architects, write a resume, prepare their portfolios and go through counseling before applying to the selected firms of their choice. At DYPSOA we have adopted the hybrid learning method due to the pandemic and we intend to adopt some of the changes in the future to grow and be able to respond to any eventualities. As an educational institute we think that research is very important to lead changes in the practice and only time will tell if we are successful in achieving the goals," concludes Prof. Shubhada Chapekar.
