Those who have had the chance of attending the classes of Dr. Raison Thomas, Director, CEDEES, would say that he is man with full of knowledge and inspiration. Indeed, it is true. Currently working as Professor in Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere, Dr. Raison is a visionary who has a great passion for teaching and for helping students to push themselves to their limits. He started guiding aspiring students from his own postgraduate days and establishedCentre for Excellence in Dental Entrance Examinations (CEDEES) in the year 2006, as a means for many other students to get the opportunity to receive correct guidance. "Our focus is on giving quality and targeted education to students aspiring to succeed in MDS entrance exams. We aim to help students exploit their own potential and give them a guide to doing that," says Dr. Raison.
CEDEES is a forward-thinking organization aiming to prepare our students for a rapidly changing world by equipping them with critical thinking skills, and respect for the core values of sharing, integrity, caring and compassion. The instituteinstils strong self-esteem and high personal expectation in the students and as a result, they have been able produce candidates who have secured top ranks in all the entrance exams including AIIMS, PGI, AIPG & NEET for the past 13 years. Dr. Raison tells us, "Our students are studying in premiere institutions all over the country." With one classroom branch each in Bangalore& Davangere and over five satellite centres spread all over the country, the institute gets around 1500 students per year, including all the classrooms, satellite and online centres.

"We keep changing and incorporating the newest techniques like problembased and picture based questions to keep students updated with the latest exams," explains Dr. Raison. CEDEES provides an excellent library support, which gives the studentan access to the latest editions of several standard textbooks. Students of CEDEES also have the freedom to contact mentors when they need motivation, counselling and moral support.

All our trainers are postgraduates in their own specialties from various reputed institutions all over the country," Headed by Dr. Raison, CEDEES has fifteen supplementary trainers along with several distinguished visiting staff who come on a regular basis to cover important subject topics.
Today, Dr. Raison has plans to take the offerings of CEDEES to many more centers in the country, which will provide an easy access to students all over. "We are expanding consistently with satellite centers in more places. We are taking steps to broaden our horizons with digitalization in every sense be it marking of the practice test answer sheets or recording of lectures so students can go back and revise," concludes Dr. Raison.
