Canada has a well-established network of universities that offer a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs. There are over 90 universities across the country, including world-renowned institutions. While Canadian universities are known for their research output, academic rigor, and emphasis on innovation, higher education in Chile has undergone significant transformation over the past few decades, evolving into a diverse and dynamic system. It plays a crucial role in the country’s economic development, social mobility, and cultural enrichment. The diversity of higher education institutions in Chile provides students with a wide range of educational opportunities. In this issue, we have focused on the higher education landscape in North and South America.
This issue features Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres (UQTR), a prominent French-language university located in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. Universite du Quebec a Trois- Rivieres (UQTR), established in 1969, is part of the Universite du Quebec network, known for its academic excellence and research contributions.
