As outlined in Agenda 2063 - the plan for Africa’s transformation, Africa has placed higher education at the center of its ambitions. The plan prioritizes investment in various fields such as education, technology, science & research as one of the key pillars of the African renaissance. For several years there have been numerous prestigious universities operating on the African continent, which continue to produce high performing individuals who greatly contribute to society. In this special issue, we have focused on this higher education landscape.
The cover story of this issue features WITS Business School. With the changing needs of society, to remain relevant, BSchools must equip students with a deep commitment to lifelong learning, an appetite to address soceital challenge, and the agility to respond quickly, and this is where Wits Business School stands apart.
