Entrepreneurship is one of the most integral parts of the learning offered to the Students and there is always a strong focus on instilling entrepreneurial skills in the Students. There is a full-fledged center called SAKSHAM - The Centre for Incubation and Entrepreneurship, which focuses on the promotion of entrepreneurial spirit amongst the youth of the University. “We organize a variety of incubation programs for the Students, where many top-notch corporate professionals and entrepreneurs are invited from time to time to motivate the students and provide them significant tips towards taking the first steps in the journey of becoming entrepreneurs. In addition, a variety of activities, assignments, and projects are given to the students under the ‘Lead Square Program’, which focuses on their development towards taking the first step towards becoming entrepreneurs. Dr. Praveen holds a Master’sdegree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from BHU, Varanasi, M.Phil (Business Administration) from Annamalai University & Ph.D (Management) from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana. Equipped with a strong administrative acumen, solid understanding of academics and a proactive approach to work in an academic system, Dr. Thakur has a rich experience in teaching, research & Administration. He has previously worked at various prestigious Institutions/Universities of North India like Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), Ambala, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University, Gurugram, Jagannath University, Delhi/ NCR (JIMS Group), Maharaja Agrasen University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh in different capacity like Professor, Dean, OSD, Controller of Examinations, Registrar, and many more.
