Acknowledging the importance of having a pioneering educational institution to offer top-notch programs in Pharmacy, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy was established in 1981 by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust. The college operates with a vision to produce globally competent pharmacists with skill, knowledge and attitude while the institutes’ mission is to impart quality education with training to excel in the pharmacy profession. The college is attached to 1000 bedded Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) hospital to offer valuable practical education to their students. Improving human lives through innovative teaching, research and outreach activities is and always has been the motto of the college and in 2018, the institute became one of the constituent colleges of Adichunchanagiri University. Dr. S. Chandrashekar Shetty is the present Vice-Chancellor of Adichunchanagiri University. The institute is also accredited by NBA, ISO 9001-2015 certified for its quality management system and is listed in the NIRF rankings of 2019 and 2020 owing to the quality of education imparted.

Self-paced learning, online assessments, continuous evaluation processes, e-learning modules, technology enabled classrooms, and virtual library helps in our student’s holistic development.
