Fashion industry is undergoing a transition which is impelling the education sector to adapt to the changing paradigm. The issue features Bon Secours College for Women which was established to empower young rural women as better citizens of the world. The Franciscan Sisters, who are members of a religious community, are instrumental in the establishment of Bon Secours College for Women. The institution was founded to elevate oppressed women, particularly rural women. Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has put forward a multifaceted educational structure for fashion technology for the students with wide exposure to both national and international market. The issue also covers Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology (SIFT) which provides the most contemporary coursework for students to pursue their passion for fashion. It bloomed under the aegis of the Suryadatta Education Foundation and has emerged as one of the most preferred institutes for fashion design in Maharashtra for its outstanding pedagogical innovations.
