NSDC and AIU to integrate skill courses in higher education
With an intentional focus on boosting the international trust in Indian credentials through a transparent and reliable framework of authentication, which will greatly enhance India's reputation in, education and skill development on the world front.
The agreement signed in New Delhi is to collaborate in increasing the international credibility of Indian qualifications while preparing students for future-ready skills.
The backbone for credential validation and authentication will be the 'NSDC Trust Platform', which will work against fraudulent activities and maintain increased transparency. Accordingly, AIU will motivate member institutions, both Indian and foreign, to use this platform, allowing direct verifications from issuing institutions.
"AIU and NSDC have partnered to seamlessly integrate skill education in academic programs in Indian higher education institutions. The MoU also includes other collaborative arrangements, such as the verification of Indian qualifications. This initiative aims to create a future-ready workforce by equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.” said Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, President of AIU.
