IOCL recruitment 2020: 436 Vacancies for Apprentices, Online Application to End on December 19, 2020

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited online applications from candidates for recruitment to the posts of Technical and Non-Technical Apprentices. Eligible candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the official website, iocl.com. Started from November 23, 2020, the last date to apply online on the official website is December 19, 2020.

A total of 436 vacancies of apprentices are to be filled under this recruitment. For detailed information, candidates can check the notification by visiting the official website of IOCL.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit

Different educational qualifications are prescribed for different trades/disciplines. For detailed information on educational qualification, you can check the notification. At the same time, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 24 years by November 30, 2020, for General/EWS candidates. Whereas, for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWBD candidates, the maximum age limit will be relaxed as per the rule. Mark sheet / Certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation (Class X) examination shall be the one acceptable doc in help of age.

Apprenticeship training period

The Trade Apprentice for Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice) and Trade Apprentice for Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders) will undergo 15 months of training. At the same time, 12 months training will be given to the selected candidates for all other subjects.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and meeting the notified eligibility criteria. The duration of the written examination will be 90 minutes. Objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be asked in the written examination. The total number of questions will be 100. All questions will be in both Hindi and English language.

A total of 436 vacancies are available at its Locations in States & Union Territory of North India (Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh).

Candidates must also notice that the candidates possessing increased skilled (qualifications) reminiscent of BE / B Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA, or any such equal qualification or pursuing increased qualification shall be thought of. Suppression of data concerning possession or pursuing increased qualification shall render a candidate ineligible for consideration at any stage of choice/termination or any time throughout engagement.
