Infosys to Hire Experienced Tech Professionals Across 40+ Skill Sets

Infosys, the software giant established by Narayana Murthy, is actively looking for skilled professionals with over 40 distinct competencies to occupy multiple roles. The organization seeks applicants who possess at least two years of work experience in specialized areas such as cloud computing, cyber security, Java Python, dotnet, Android/iOS development, and automation testing, based on an ET report.

Sources suggest that this hiring campaign is in line with the company’s annual lateral hiring plan.

Comparable recruitment efforts were carried out by Infosys in February and March of last year, featuring walk-in interviews at their development centers in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

The organization has distributed internal communications about the recruitment strategy, allowing candidates to indicate their chosen interview sites and preferred work cities upon selection.

Around three years prior, the tech company held online hiring events in Bengaluru as the city was bouncing back from the Covid-19 pandemic.

The company has not responded to questions regarding the intended number of new hires for this recruitment effort.

Infosys has revealed its intention to hire 20,000 newcomers in the upcoming fiscal year, while keeping details about the balance between new graduates and seasoned professionals undisclosed. At present, the organization has around 323,000 staff members.

The hiring initiative seeks to fill staffing shortages caused by turnover and meet the needs for ongoing and upcoming project opportunities. Sources indicate that new staffing requirements have arisen for smaller projects.

This recruitment initiative comes after the recent issuance of about 600 offer letters to engineering students from colleges around Karnataka's Dharwad district last month. This is a component of the plan to improve functions at their Hubballi development center.

The firm's growth plan involves hiring talented graduates from local educational establishments to enhance their team.

This local hiring initiative supports the company's transfer policy from June of last year, which offers incentives to current employees at different locations who are interested in moving to Hubballi.
