IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2025: Step-by-step guide to applying online
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has invited applications for six temporary research and engineering posts under an online ad-hoc recruitment process. Vacancies include three Senior Research Fellow (Direct) posts and three Associate Project Engineer posts.
Each post has five-month tenure and consolidated monthly remuneration between Rs.43660 and Rs.49560. The last date for submission of applications is April 19, 2025, and shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online through Microsoft Teams. Candidates should mail their CV and testimonials as per the given directions. There are three posts for SRF (Direct) with one vacancy for each post. All of them will be recruited for 5 months with total remuneration of Rs. 49560 which includes Rs. 42000 pay recommendation and HRA of Rs. 7590.
The eligibility for each post has 2 different criteria, and candidate who fulfills any one will be eligible. The first criteria is ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech/ MSc in EEE/ECE/Nanotechnology/Electronics/Physics or other relevant disciplines with GATE/NET Score/Other National Exams + 2yrs of research experience, which is same for all three posts of SRF, and the other criteria differs for each post.
The other three posts are for Associate Project Engineer which also has one vacancy for each post. All of them will be recruited for 5 months with total remuneration of Rs. 43660 which includes pay recommendation of Rs. 37000 and HRA Rs. 6660. The eligibility for each post has 2 different criteria, and candidate who fulfills any one will be eligible. The first criterion is Qualifications- M.E./M.Tech/MSc in EE/ECE/Nanotechnology/Physics/Electronics or other relevant disciplines, and the other criteria differ for each post.

4. Send it to the Principal Investigator’s email before 11:59 PM, 19th April 2025 (Saturday).
5. Wait for a reply with interview details and Microsoft Teams link if shortlisted.
