The pandemic is affecting on a large scale throughout the country. States can announce curfews or lockdown at any time. Educational systems are shut down everywhere and in this situation of the pandemic, taking classes for students is held through online mode. Learning new skills during this period will give me a value-added. Finetuning your skills and upskilling will boost your competencies. Upskilling will help you to realize your true potentials. Many upskilling courses are available online where you can acquire the required ones. Free courses are also available to make use of the time during the lockdown. Many online platforms provide you free courses such as LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, NASSCOM, AICTE ELIS portal, etc. 

1.LinkedIn Learning ­– 

Many universities provide Learning subscriptions for free and ensure as a platform where you can find your desired course. Also, after completing a course, you can add certification to your profile, which will add more value. These courses with certification allow students to develop their knowledge.

2. Udemy – 

Udemy is the largest marketplace for online learning in India, this includes 1.5 lakh courses. Millions of learners are using this opportunity currently. This online learning platform provides courses on business, tech skills, drawing, memory strengthening, etc. Every year new courses are created and updated, also anyone who is having the ability and passion for teaching can create ones’ video-based course. 

 Being indoor throughout the future days can be created with much energy of doing and learning new things until the lockdown ends. 

3.Learning a New Language or a Hobby – 

Learning a new thing will help to keep the brain and mind active. Watching movies of the language which you wish to learn will be a goal setter and stay motivated always. Keep connected with the other language learners online and make some informative conversations with them.
